NEW PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENTS:
 
The Preble County ESC is now offering the official ACT Online Prep Course.  This web-based prep program includes 24/7 access to all prep materials and actual ACT tests.  Click here to learn more. 

 
The purpose of the Preble County Educational Service Center is to ensure that:
  • every student in the District attends a properly supervised school;
  • to furnish professional leadership and consulting services in order to strengthen local districts in areas they are unable to finance or staff independently;
  • to maintain contact with State Department of Education; and
  • to coordinate certain state and federal program standards to ensure local district compliance.
The organizational goals established by the Governing Board are as follows:
  • To provide efficient and effective administrative functions for the District.
  • To provide a comprehensive communication system to share educational information with the people served by the District.
  • To provide leadership in design, implementation and evaluation of educational programs for the District.
  • To provide administrative, community, staff and student services to support and enhance the educational programs of the District.

2015 HIGH SCHOOL ART SHOW
 

The High School Preble County Creative Kids Show is currently on display at the Fine Arts Center.  The artwork will be on display through May 8th.  On April 30th , the awards reception was held.  Awards are given for Level 1 (students who are in their first or second year of art) and Level II (students who are in their third or fourth year of art).  Artwork is judged by an anonymous panel of judges and awards given for 1st – 3rd place and honorable mention.  A Best of Show award is also given from those who received a first place award in their medium.  

2015 ROTARY HONOR SCHOLARS BANQUET
 

The annual Rotary Honor Scholars banquet was held at Twin Valley South High School on Thursday April 23, 2015.  The Rotary Honor Scholars banquet is an event coordinated by the Preble County Educational Service Center that recognizes sophomores, juniors, and seniors that are in the top 5% of their class.   

2015 ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL ART SHOW
The Elementary and Middle School Preble County Creative Kids Show is currently on display at the Fine Arts Center.  The artwork will be on display through April 10th.  On March 26th, the awards reception was held.  No awards are given for elementary art, but all students are recognized for their participation.  Middle School artwork is judged by an anonymous panel of judges and awards given for 1st – 3rd place and honorable mention.  A Best of Show award is also given from those who received a first place award in their medium.
 
 
2015 PREBLE COUNTY ALL COUNTY BAND
The 2015 Preble County All County Band concert was held on March 12, 2015 at the Performing Arts Center at Eaton Community Schools.  All County Band consists of a performance from both middle school and high school students.  The middle school students are nominated by their local band director to participate and high school students must audition for the chance to participate.  Once the students are selected, they have two school days (approximately 7 hours) to rehearse with the guest conductor.  The All County Band was extremely fortunate to have some great talent come and conduct for each band

2015 Preble County Geography Bee
The annual Preble County Geography Bee was held on Tuesday February 3rd at Bruce Elementary.  Participating students were in grades 4-8 and had won their building level geography bee.   
2015 Preble County Science Fair
The 2015 Preble County Science Fair was held on Saturday January 31st at Twin Valley South.  Students from Twin Valley South, West Elkton Intermediate, and National Trail all competed for the opportunity to move on to the district level.
